This Policy sets out how we ask you to engage with myelevatetutor™ — and what the Platform is designed to help you do.

It forms part of your Terms and Conditions of Use. The same expectations apply to students, parents, and guardians.

 

1.  The Spirit of This Policy

 

1.1   myelevatetutor™ is built to support genuine learning. Everything in this Policy flows from one simple idea: use the Platform in the way it is intended — to grow, to understand, and to achieve.

1.2   We have kept this Policy short and straightforward. If you are ever unsure whether something is appropriate, a good test is: does this help me learn, or does it undermine the learning of others? If the answer to the second question is yes, please don't do it.

1.3   If you have a question about what is or isn't appropriate, contact us at info@elevatetutor.com. We would rather you ask than guess.

 

2.  How We Invite You to Use the Platform

 

2.1   You are welcome to use myelevatetutor™ to:

• Work through learning content at your own pace and revisit material as often as you need.

• Ask the AI assistant questions, explore topics in depth, and use its responses to deepen your understanding.

• Save your progress and learning history to track how far you have come.

• Share what you have learned — your own words, your own thinking — in school assignments and everyday life.

• Reach out to our support team whenever you need help with the Platform.

 

2.2   Parents and guardians are welcome to:

• Review their student's learning activity and progress through the Platform.

• Contact us with any questions or concerns about their student's experience.

• Manage account and subscription settings on behalf of their student.

 

3.  How We Ask You to Engage

 

3.1   We ask that you:

• Use your own account and keep your login details secure. Sharing accounts or access with others is not permitted.

• Engage with the AI assistant respectfully. The Platform is designed to be a positive learning environment for everyone.

• Use AI-generated responses to support and inform your own thinking — not to substitute for it. Submitting AI-generated content as your own original work in contexts where that is prohibited (for example, assessed schoolwork) is not consistent with the spirit of learning.

• Respect the intellectual property of Elevate and our content partners. Course materials and AI outputs are for your personal learning use and may not be shared, republished, or commercialised.

• Keep the Platform’s content within the Platform. Downloading, extracting, or systematically copying course content is not permitted.

• Not use Platform content, AI outputs, or data derived from your use of the Platform to develop, train, test, or improve any AI model or machine learning system, whether for personal, commercial, or any other purpose.

 

4.  Keeping the Platform Safe and Positive

 

4.1   myelevatetutor™ serves students of all ages, including young people. We ask everyone using the Platform to help maintain an environment that is safe, respectful, and focused on learning.

4.2   The following are not consistent with that environment:

• Attempting to manipulate, deceive, or misuse the AI assistant — including trying to get it to produce content that is harmful, offensive, or outside its intended educational purpose.

• Attempting to access, probe, or interfere with the Platform's systems, software, or data.

• Using the Platform to store, share, or distribute content that is harmful, illegal, or inappropriate for a learning environment.

• Impersonating another person, creating false accounts, or misrepresenting your identity.

 

5.  What Happens If Something Goes Wrong

 

5.1   If we believe this Policy has been breached, we will usually contact you first to understand what happened. For minor issues, a conversation and a course correction is all that is needed.

5.2   Where a breach is more serious — including where it affects the safety or experience of other users, involves an attempt to compromise the Platform, or otherwise constitutes a serious breach of section 4 — we may suspend or end access without prior notice. A serious breach of this Policy is a serious breach of the Terms and Conditions of Use.

5.3   If you believe someone else is misusing the Platform or that your account has been accessed without your permission, please let us know at info@elevatetutor.com and we will act promptly.
